TEXT: JOHN 11:38-44
One can pray to God in any posture: Abraham fell upon his face (Gen.12:3, 17); Moses prayed with raised hands (Exod. 9:27-29) while King Solomon knelt in prayer (1 King 8:54) and Jesus Christ prayed looking up to heaven (v.41), It is important to note that, in prayer, we are on “Holy ground”, meeting with the Creator of the universe. Avoid carelessness and flippancy while in the presence of God. Some people answer phone calls during prayer time.

Sometimes we rush with words and time, just because we want to clear our consciousness that we have prayed, yet with heart far from prayer.
King Solomon said; “Be not rush with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth.

Therefore let your words be few” (Ecc. 5:2, ESV).
Meditate on verse 41. What is God teaching you in this verse?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I lift up my eyes to You, may Your name be glorified in our land. Amen.
