Text: Matthew 5:43-48.
“But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” (verse 44). Contrary to the laws and practices that govern the
world affairs, you as a Christian are expected to suffer injury or loss that can be born for the sake of peaceful co-existence.

Have you ever been unjustly treated? What was your response to this provocation? Following our Lord’s advice in Luke 6:29, what are some
things that you need to change?

Dear Lord, Jesus Christ, it is hard for me to emulate You in this example, but by Your grace and the power of the Holy Spirit, help
me to be a peace maker whenever there is a conflict between me and my neighbors. In Your name I have prayed, Amen.
