Texts: Isaiah 6:1-5; John 12:41.
Isaiah 6 is an amazing account of how a man was brought (somehow) into the very throne room of God, and how he saw “the LORD” (= Yahweh, God’s personal covenant name) seated, and how he saw and heard the seraphim (unique heavenly beings) calling out praises of God’s glorious name. Why was Moses forbidden from seeing God’s glory, but Isaiah saw? John provides the answer in 12:41. According to the apostle, Isaiah saw Jesus. The angels were worshipping Jesus, calling out words of His
praise, saying that the whole world was full of Jesus’ glory!

Reflect on verse 41, what is God teaching you in this verse?

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that Your glory will be revealed in this land, that people will see Your glory through Your Son Jesus Christ, Amen.
