Text: Isaiah 53:1-12.
“Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted,” (verse 4). It is amazing that Prophet Isaiah an Old Testament person was enabled by God to look into the future and see Christ dying for our sins. He could see Jesus Christ, the Holy One, bearing the punishments that we, the sinners, deserved.
Reflect on verses 4 and 5, what encouragement do you get from these verses?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for this wonderful truth. Help me to believe that by Jesus Christ’s stripes I am healed of all diseases both; physical and spiritual, Amen.
