Text: Genesis 1:1-13
‘And God said, “Let there be light”, and there was light,’ (verse 3). Of all things that God created, He created light first so that we see and
appreciate His creation and ultimately give Him the glory because of what He is and what He created. The Word of God is powerful and
indeed Christ, the eternal Word of God, is powerful and light to those who are being saved. In Him there is no darkness.
Reflect on verses 3 and 31, what is God teaching you in these verses?
Father, in the name Jesus Christ, I pray that the light of God will shine in the hearts of men and women and submit to You and
receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and submit to His Lordship. Strengthen those who have received this light and are struggling.
