Text: Isaiah 43:1-28
The content of this chapter is more less the same as that of the previous chapter.
In here we once again see God’s precious promises to His chosen nation, His presence and support for them and indeed their deliverance (vv. 1-7). In this particular portion God gives grounds for His care to the nation that is wrecked in sin. These grounds are: 1. They are God’s workmanship, He formed them into a people, guided their governance and assured their existence through His covenant. 2. The Lord has purchased them through the redemption from Egypt and from other bondages that followed. God has called them by their name; meaning these are God’s special people (v.2). 3. God is their God by covenant (v.3), they need not to fear. You as a child of God are the special one, you have been purchased by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Meditate on verse 1-7. What is God teaching you in these verses?

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for redeeming me with the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank You for being my God, the Holy one of Israel. Amen.
