Text: Ruth 3:1-18
In life, you would follow someone’s advice, even when it looks silly, just out of trust. To a foreigner like Ruth, who knew not much about the Hebrew culture, Naomi’s advice was odd (v.4), but because she knew Naomi as a trustworthy person, kind and a lady of integrity, Ruth pledged to follow Naomi’s advice. (v.5).
In this life some situations may be so difficult that we are tempted not to trust God. However, because God is trustworthy, we must put faith and obey Him. You obey God even when it seems impractical from a human perspective.

Meditate on verse 5. What is this verse teaching you about trust and integrity?
Almighty and our Father in heaven, I acknowledge that all salvation, glory, power and honour belong to You and You are worthy of all trust.
I promise to trust You and to rely on You. Amen.
