Text: Psalm 37:1-25.
“Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart,” verse 4 (ESV). We must delight in the Lord, meaning we must experience great pleasure and joy in His presence. This calls upon us to be in constant fellowship with Him so that we know Him more. If you experience God’s great love in His Son, Jesus Christ, as your Saviour and Lord, you will indeed be delighted.
Reflect on verse 4, what is God teaching you in this verse? How are you going to apply it your life and family?
My heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of salvation. I pray that I will always delight in You. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
