Friday, 24th December 2021. That Jesus Christ would be a wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace
Text: Isaiah 9:5-7
After war, debris would be gathered and burned (v.5), thereby declaring, and signifying some peace. And Isaiah is pointing to a time in future when a Son will be born, in humanity but divine. He would protect and defend His people, and He would bring peace (v. 6).
Prophet Isaiah was pointing to Jesus Christ who is able to guard us against all evil (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace and Mighty God. Trust Him with your life; He will take you to heaven.
Meditate on 2 Thess. 3:3. What is God teaching you in this verse?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for guarding me against the evil because of the Holy Spirit that is in me. Amen.
