Text: Psalm 131:1-3
Are you the kind of person that simply must know everything in detail? Do you hate mystery? As we grow in Christ, we learn that there are so many things that are not in our control, and were never meant to be. The Holy Spirit works faith in us, so that we are able to see Christ for who He truly is, and then with that same faith receive Him as our Lord and Saviour.

With this faith we see that God’s whole plan of Redemption is a mystery to us unless it is revealed to us by the power of Christ. Yet, can we fully explain the perfect union of the human and divine nature in Christ and our spiritual unity with Him? No, for this is impossible for the human mind to grasp. But in true faith, we take hold of this mystery and claim
it as our very own, and we trust in quietness and humility. When we take this as our core identity, the Spirit quietens our soul, and we rest totally in Him; content with whatever our loving Father places in our way. Our contentment builds our hope, and from this hope our confidence in the future grows; now and forevermore!

Meditate on verse 3. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Our Omniscient and Faithful Father, I pray that You settle my soul for the level of Your revelation to me, according to Your will and build my hope in You forever. In the name of Jesus Christ I have prayed. Amen.
