Text: 1 Timothy 5: 1-25.
‘For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages,’” verse 18 (ESV). In some places, workers are denied food even when they are the ones who cook it. In other places they are given poor food and the best is reserved for sale. In the process of maximizing profits, some workers in organisations go hungry. This is unbiblical; seriously look into the welfare of your workers.
Reflect on verse 18, how are you going to apply it to your life and family?
My heavenly Father, give me the grace to promote the welfare of those that work for/under me. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
