Text: Acts 2:14-36.
“But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them…”This Jesus God raised up, and of that we all are witnesses. …

Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified,” verses 14-36 (ESV). This, first ever, Christian sermon was conducted by Peter on the first day of the week, and therefore setting the pace for the subsequent Church to worship God on the first day of the week, Sunday.

Reflect on verse 14, Peter had showed humility when he denied that he knew Jesus Christ, where did he get power to be bold as he is on the day of Pentecost? What else do you learn from this text?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for boldness to witness for Your glory. Amen.
