Friday, 10th September 2021. Love, discipline
Text: Proverbs 12:1-28
A child that will live by faith must love discipline (v.1). Such a child will appreciate the guidance of his parents. If you are disciplined then you will acquire knowledge and wisdom. We know wisdom comes from God (Prov. 9:10). So if you want your generation to live by faith then discipling them is key! Discipline a child as you focus him to God through Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord.
Meditate on verse 1. How are you going to apply it to your life and family?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me to appreciate the discipline of my elders. Amen.
