Text: Deuteronomy 9:13-29.
“So I lay prostrate before the LORD for these forty days and forty nights, because the LORD had said he would destroy you”, verse 25. You can have a prolonged time of prayer especially when you are praying for one specific item or area. You may even repeat the same request for several times [see 2 Corinthians 12]
Reflect on verse 25, how can you apply it to your life?
Father, I cry to You for this nation, forgive us for the evil we have committed. We have killed innocent children, worshiped idols and
partaken of dishonest gain, forgive us Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
