Text: Matthew 5:17-20.
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them,” (verse 17). Indeed all the Old Testaments prophecies concerning the coming and dying of Jesus Christ were all fulfilled. Jesus Christ came to save His own, verse 17.
You need to believe and receive Him, and therefore get the eternal life.
Take this period of days of grace to respond to His love for you, and do not take His patience for granted. He is coming soon, and this time as
a judge.
Every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and every knee bow down before Him. However, for some, it will be too late! The only day for you to confess Christ is today, yesterday is gone and tomorrow is a mystery and you may not see it! Jesus Christ came to take away the sin of the world. He accomplished this task on the cross. He died and on the third day resurrected from the dead and He ascended into heaven.
He is coming back soon to judge the living and the dead. Be ready, only in Him!
Reflect on verse 15, what is God teaching you in this verse?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for the fulfilled prophecies of the coming of Jesus Christ. In Him I have fellowship
with You, in Him I have the righteousness and holiness, in Him I am more than a conqueror, Amen.
