Text: Genesis 2:1-7.
In God’s design, man was given the leadership role since he was the first to be created and then after a period of time, God created Eve, verse 7. God gave Adam the leadership role over his family. By God creating Adam first was in line with the Old Testament idea of primogeniture, where the firstborn, had a leadership role in a family even where birth right was sold to fulfill God’s special purposes.
Reflect on verse 7, what is God teaching you in this verse?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for creating me special by giving me the breath of heaven for me to live and be
different from other animals in creation. Amen.
