Text: Deuteronomy 6:1-15.
“And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when
you lie down, and when you rise”, verses 6-7. This is a very important responsibility for the father and should never be delegated to any other person like teachers in schools and Churches. It should be diligent and not sporadic or occasional. A father should give it constant attention.
Remember you can begin now. It is not yet too late!
Reflect on verses 6 and 7, what is God teaching your children in these verses? How are you going to apply them to your life?
My heavenly Father, forgive me when I have not diligently instructing our children in Your ways. Help me to be an available father to my
family. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
