Text: Colossians 3:1-17.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God”, verse 16. As a father, you should not only influence your children in ways of godliness but
you yourself must practice godly living. Therefore there is a need for you to be filled with the Spirit and the Word of God. The mother should
supplement the efforts of the father in this cause.
Reflect on verse 16, what is God teaching you in this verse? And how are you going to apply it to your life?
My heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, fill me with the Holy Spirit and open my spiritual eyes to be able to see You as You
guide me in raising godly children. Amen.
