Text: Joshua 24:14-28.
“And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD”, verse 15. A father should rule his family in reverence to God, our Creator. A father should create an altar, which is a regular, consistent family prayer time, and he must guard that time jealously.
Reflection on verse 15, what gods are you worshipping in your home?
What is God teaching you in this verse and how are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that fathers will raise altars in their respective homes so that they will cry to You day and
night for their families. Amen.
