In the previous series we discussed areas where Africa needs to watch for a return to happen. We will now discuss the things that we need to focus on for the return of substance to be materialized.

1. Bind the strong man
The scripture in Mathew 12: 29 teaches that for one to enter a house, he must first bind the strong man and then take the plunder. As Africans plan to return, they must bind the strong man over Africa and bring him down the way Jesus taught us.

2. Give towards the building of altars and tabernacles
The scripture in Exodus 25 shows us that all items that were plundered were dedicated to the building of the altar of the Lord. We see many examples in the book of Kings where many soldiers dedicated parts of their plunder for the service of the Lord’s storehouse. Similarly Africa must dedicate the return of their resources to the building of the Lord’s purposes.

3. Make the good news known
The story of the African exodus is a story for all and will bring glory to God. There is need to teach and explain God’s purpose and destiny for Africa on all available platforms. This process will awaken dreams and become a springboard for others in bondage.

4. Share the plunder
When there is restoration, everyone who receives plunder must share with the rest. The best celebration is to celebrate with all. 1 Samuel 30:24 shows the right kind of repatriation; where those who stayed at home during battle share the plunder recovered with those that went to battle. Africa must do likewise.

5. Raise godly leadership
Leadership sustains divine progress. Men and women of choice should be allocated positions of influence. It is time for the Eliakims to awake and replace the Shebnas of the land. Isaiah 22:15-25.

6. Become a place of refuge
In response to global tragedies, Africa must continuously allow refugees and other fugitives to find rest here. Biblical accounts show that many saints -Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Jesus, Simon of Cyrene and many others – found refuge in this continent.

7. Forsake idol worship and build altars for God
Whenever one goes, there should be an altar raised for the God of Israel. Caution should be taken not to import other gods.

We must allow God to sanctify us as He did the children of Israel during the exodus.

Questions
1. Which of the above actions are you committing to do for your life, family and nation?
2. How will you make others aware of the steps to be carried out before the African Exodus?

Prayer points
1. Pray for the grace to help you prepare for the return of substance.
2. Pray for a spirit of generosity that once again Africa will become a place of refuge.
3. Pray that the message of the African exodus will be received and God will raise leaders for the transition and transformation process.
