A) Financial Status – Phase II

B) Technical Status
2019 is the year to complete phase 2 and commence finishes and other components under phase 3 of the project. The roof structure in structural steel is fully hoisted and the water proofing underlay fixed. Laying of roofing tiles is in progress. After roofing works are completed, external closures to the new Sanctuary will commence and be completed by August 2019.
After re-measuring executed works with variations allowed, the following items could no longer fit within the current contractual commitments and were rescheduled from the ongoing phase 2 contract: Wall and floor finishes, Internal closures, Works for offices on Lower ground level and external works.
Since the entire monolithic structural works will be complete under the ongoing phase 2, while mindful of the desire to make the new Sanctuary usable as soon as possible, and still pursuing the key principle of “Building the Sanctuary without debt”, it is planned that the remaining de-scoped works from the ongoing phase 2 as well as finishes, furnishing, fittings and equipment Installations will be executed in Lots of small modest values which will be sequential or concurrent as appropriate, under phase 3.
C) Funds Mobilisation:
Thanks go to all the regular givers to ACP through: Ongoing Tegula Gideon commitments, Fellowship and Group contributions, individual and family giving, regular Sunday collecions, one-off giving, Diaspora giving, buying of ACP branded Souvenirs – this contributes some funds but more so strengthens our identity. We encourage you to continue to: Pray, Participate, Provide and [mobilise] Partners for this great work of the Lord.
