ACP Updates :: Sunday 22nd January 2023

The ACP Team is grateful to God for His faithfulness for the Cathedral Building project, now in Phase 3 which is the completion phase. The new Sanctuary is fully plastered internally and external works for storm water drainage, paving, boundary fencing and gates are done. Project completion for all works and installations is anticipated by the end of the year 2023 as follows:
a) By end of September 2023 – all Interior works for the Sanctuary will be completed – fully closed, Acoustic Ceiling, floor finishes, all internal finishes and with electro-mechanical installations
b) By end of December 2023 – all Exterior works – Walls (slanting, bell tower and every wall surface) to be cladded, pending offices (on lower ground) and any other pending works to be completed.
The above roadmap heavily depends on how fast we can close the funding gap estimated over UGX Eight (8) Billion. Breth¬ren, the finishing line is near, do not despair! TECHNICAL STATUS
The project is in the hands of Consultants and the site remains under restricted access.
Works on Vertical Windows (Lot 8A) is on-going under M/s Hebron Investments Limited.
After two unsuccessful procurement cycles, the Works Contract for Completion Works
for Interiors to the new Sanctuary was finally signed on 19th December 2022.

•Contractor is Seyani International Company Limited
•Contract Sum is UGX 6,965,469,955= which includes VAT amounting to UGX 1,062,529,315=
•Scope of Works covers – Floor finishes (Lot 6), Closures – Doors and Railings (Lot 7), Acoustic Ceiling (Lot 9), Electrical/ICT installations (Lot 10) and Mechanical installations (Lot 11)
•Contract duration – 9 months
•Time frame – Commencement date – 04th January 2023 while the planned Completion date is 15th September 2023.
