ACP Update for Sunday Bulletin – 28th May 2017

Today 28th May 2017 is a special Sunday as Phase 2 works are two weeks old. The ACP Team extends gratitude and blessings for all the contributions, prayers and desire to raise the sanctuary of God. The Lord is continuing to do marvellous things as we re-start construction works.
A. Financial Status
1. The total contractual obligation for phase 2 is UGX 7.1 Billion covering Works, VAT and Consultancy services. As of today we have UGX 2,504,592,583 available for the project and for smooth execution we need to have raised UGX 4 Billion by December 2017. This implies that we need to raise a minimum of 1.5 Billion in the remaining 6 months of this year. For us to achieve this dream, we need to continue giving generously. Our prayer is that the Lord will continue to resurrect all the enemy had taken from you.
2. UGX 1,700,000,000 is invested in fixed deposits.
3. Last week (21st to 27th May 2017) UGX 36,089,183 and USD 200 was collected and banked on ACP account.
4. We thank a parishioner who gave 10million on Sunday and two others who walked in with 5 million and 3 million respectively and many others who are giving without restrain, God bless you.
B. Technical Status
The new Cathedral site (Plot 6, Lugard road) was handed over to the Contractor – Ambitious Construction Ltd on Tuesday, 16th May 2017. We thank the Clergy and many parishioners who came to participate in the special dedication and signing off the site. Plot 6 has now been hoarded-off for works to commence. All parishioners are encouraged to participate in project
monitoring and site inspections as the works progress. Guidelines on your involvement will be issued in due course. The Cathedral Management requests for your understanding and patience as we face some inconveniences and limited parking areas, all for the good of God’s work among us.
