Text: Ephesians 6:1-4.
“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord”, verse 4. As a prophet, the father is not holding the office of the prophet for there is no such office now.
The Bible is complete. But he can and shall speak prophetically to his children, for example, for them to repent of their sins and be forgiven.
Otherwise God punishes sin.
Reflect on verse 4, what is God leading you to do in that verse, and how are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for all the fathers to speak prophetically to their children to the glory of Your name. amen.
