Acts 15:37-40.
“Now Barnabas wanted to take with them John, called Mark. But Paul thought best not to take with them one who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. And there arose a sharp disagreement, so that they separated from each other.
Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,” (verses 37-39). Such sharp disagreements will always occur amongst us as long as we are in the flesh. But this did not deter the Apostles from the work at hand of spreading the Gospel. It is critical and incumbent upon us to realise the greater cause before us and not allow the flesh to determine the course and the will of God.
Reflect on verses 37-39, do you engage in heated and unrelenting disputes? Repent.
