SATURDAY, 11th JUNE 2022 :: RUTH
TEXT: RUTH 1:1-22
The name, “Ruth” means “friend”. She was loyal to her mother-in-law
(v.16). She was a woman of integrity. She was a faithful and hardworking lady. Ruth was a Moabite who married an Israelite. By the grace of God, she became one of the four women mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus Christ.
Ruth is a shadow of the perfect Person, Jesus Christ, who was truly loyal to His Father, (John 6:38). Jesus Christ is our Hero, if you want to experience true loyalty, then receive and believe in Jesus Christ.
Meditate on verse 16. How are you going to respond to it?
Heavenly Father, the Lord of heaven and earth, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me be sincerely loyal to only You! Amen.
