TUESDAY, 11TH JANUARY 2022 || LET THE HOLY SPIRIT LEAD YOU IN PRAYER
TEXT: JOHN 16:1-15
The Holy Spirit Who guided the New Statement writers to put down what we have in the Bible is still at work (v.13). Allow Him to work in your life moment by moment. There are items that we need and treasure, and must pray for every day. However, avoid using certain “colourful” words committed to memory, out of routine. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide your heart in the use of these words. Thoughtlessness in prayer is bad. Sometimes we can be used to utter written prayers, which one can recite without thinking much about. Printed prayers can be very helpful, if a person reads them thoughtfully. And with the help of the Holy Spirit, you can add to them!
Meditate on verse 13. What is God teaching in this verse?
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, guide me in all truth. Let
everything I do be guided by the Holy Spirit. Amen.
