Sunday, 21st November 2021. A leader should be compassionate
Text: Matthew 14:13-21
A leader of the people especially in distress needs to be compassionate (v.14). Jesus Christ is our example; He gave His followers food (v.16). He was concerned about people’s welfare!
Today, most leaders are selfish for even the little that is meant for the people they are leading, they take it. Most people cry and live in poverty not because our countries are poor; but because leaders are not compassionate towards their respective communities.
Meditate on verse 16. How are you going to apply is to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, teach our leaders to be compassionate towards the people they are leading. Amen.
