Thursday, 18th November 2021. A leader should study the Word of God
Text: Psalm 119:105-120
The Word of God should be a lamp for a leader’s feet and light to his path; and, indeed, to every one of us (v.105). The Word will be light if you read, study and apply it to your life. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and every one, especially a leader needs wisdom! (Prov.9:10).
If you are a leader, do not quote or use the Bible to support your selfish ambition; apply it in context.
Jesus Christ told the Jews to abide in the Word. That, if they were His disciples they would know the truth and it would set them free (John 8:31-32). It is only through the Word of God that you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free!
Meditate on John 8:31-32. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, teach and encourage me to read the Bible every day. Amen.
