Saturday, 13th November 2021. A leader is a team builder
Text: Nehemiah 2:18-20
When Nehemiah explained the simple vision he had to the people, they quickly bought into it and they became one united team (v.18). A leader should be able to mobilize a team to work with. A team comes with energy and different talents and abilities to accomplish the vision in hand. For a team to be successful, it must receive specific instructions and responsibilities.
Jesus Christ is our Hero in team-building (Mat.4:18-22). He gave to His disciples specific responsibilities for them to be successful in their mission (Luk.9:1-2). Do not be a loner, ask God to give you the ability to be able to identify and mobilise others for the work at hand. If you are not a team leader, at least be a team member for the vision at hand.
Meditate on Luke 9:1-2. How are you going to respond to it?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, teach me how to build a team to accomplish the vision You have given me. Amen.
