Text: Jeremiah 47:1-7
Jeremiah prophesies that Philistine will be judged and terror will visit them, to the extent that none will save their family members (v.36). There will be great mourning as they will shave the heads in Gaza and observe total silence in Ashkelon as some people will be cutting themselves (v.5). God’s judgment will not end until its purpose is achieved (vv.6-7). God’s discipline will not end until it achieves purity and righteousness. Righteousness not of your own, but of Jesus Christ.
Meditate on verses 6-7. How are you going to respond to them?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me walk in Your ways always. Amen.
