Text: Genesis 44:1-34.
Joseph disguised himself further as an Egyptian before his brothers by claiming to practice divination [v.5]. This was all part of realising his
dream, the dream that his brothers would some day bow down to him.
Be sure that as a child of God nobody can stand in your way of God’s ordained purpose for your life. Your dream may delay, again depending
on God, but it will come to pass. Trust and obey the Lord Jesus Christ.
Meditate on verse 15. The verse does not encourage you to use divination.
Our “divination” is in Christ. Jesus Christ is our all in all! What else do you learn from this verse?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for the blood of Jesus Christ that washes away all the believers’ sins. Amen.
