Texts: Genesis 4:17-26; 45:8.
“Adah bore Jabal; he was the father of those who dwell in tents and have livestock. His brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all those who play the lyre and pipe,” verses, 20-21 (ESV). We need to respect and honour those God has given exceptional gifts. Do not envy them, instead praise God who has enabled them to be more articulate and gifted than you are.
Reflect on verses 20-21, what is God teaching in these verses?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for special gifts You have given to Your people for the common good of Your Church. Amen.
