Hello,
Children's ChurchGreetings from Children’s Church.
Thank you for your effort in nurturing the child/children in your care to know, love and obey God as they grow up. Deuteronomy 6:4-7 (Hear O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your and with all your soul and with all your strength.

These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.) The original context of this scripture was given to parents. They were the ones instructed to teach their children. This scripture gives every parent and all adults with children in their care, a great mandate to teach and nurture children in a manner that will lead them to know, love and follow God for a lifetime.

Most of the children’s faith is formed through the lifestyles of adults most common in their lives. If every parent lives out what is instructed in the scripture, then God will raise a generation of men and women that will live in the fear of the LORD and bring glory to His name.

However, because we live in a broken world where parents have to spend more time at work places, things are not the way God had designed them to be. Even then, God still provides ways for His people to live triumphantly.

As a Church, we offer support in form of teaching, training, counselling, pastoral care, giving children opportunities to serve, among others. Lately we have been teaching children about the Holy Spirit and we have been amazed at the testimonies they keep giving us about how God is working in their lives. Parents can always strengthen the lessons that children learn at Church in order to grow their faith.
