Text: Genesis 1:26-31.
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them,” (verse 27). Since both male and female are created in the image of God, both are equally important and valuable. Therefore any idea that undermines one sex at the expense of the other is from Satan. There is no better or worse sex, they are all important before God.
Reflect on verses 27 and 28, what is God teaching you especially in verse 28? How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, l pray for the liberation of women especially in communities and religions which see them
as inferior sexes. I pray that both sexes will know and accept their positions in the Kingdom of God and work together to promote harmonious Christian families. Amen.
