Text: Deuteronomy 28:15-68.
“But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you,” verse 15 (ESV). You may wonder why all these curses mentioned (verses 16-68) have not struck you. Remember God is patient with you to repent and do the right thing. So do not take His patience for granted. This is the day to repent and obey God’s commands as His child through Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord.
Reflect on verses 16-68, what is God teaching you in these verses? How are you going to apply verse 15 to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that all these curses, that follow a disobedient child of Yours will not follow me. I pray for Your blessings. Amen.
