Text: Romans 12:1-21.
“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith,” verse 6 [NKJV]. Here the word “Prophecy” means, speaking forth and it does not necessarily include the prediction of the future or other super natural aspects as all today’s false prophets want us to believe. This is a nonrevelatory facet or sense where the word “prophecy” will simply imply the skillful and clear proclamation of the Word of God. [1 Corinth 14:3, 24, 25; 1 Peter 4:11]. The prophecy here is not to predict the future but to relay the truth of the Word of God to the people.

Meditate on verse 6. How are you going to apply it to your life and the body of Christ?

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me to proclaim Your truth to Your people. Amen.
