Text: Colossians 3:18-25
The Bible encourages us to work heartily as to the Lord, and not to man (v. 23). If you know, as you work, that you are accountable to God and not to man, it will save you from grumbling and cheating. Every challenge you face, you will treat it as a cost of discipleship; the cost of following Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ knew He was here to fulfill the Will of His Father. And that He is only accountable to Him. This was the reason He was focused, despite the hardships and challenges He faced, especially from the religious leaders. Let us emulate Jesus Christ!
Meditate on verse 23. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, let me understand that whatever I do am ultimately accountable to You. Amen.
