Text: Jeremiah 10:1-12
Jeremiah begins by urging the children of God not to behave like pagans who were devoted to astrology, magic and superstition as they worshiped the sun, the moon and the stars. They were not to be dismayed by the signs in the sky (vv. 1-2). That the idols forged by man are nothing, for they cannot speak and have to be carried about (vv.3-5).

However, God of Israel is all powerful (v.6). He is the Creator of the seen and unseen. He is the Living and Everlasting God. “…At His wrath the earth will tremble…” (v.10).
Meditate on verse 10. What is God teaching you in this verse?

Almighty Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I worship You for You alone is worthy of my praise. And all the power and glory are Yours forever. Amen.
