All Saints’ Cathedral, Kampala in partnership with several medical centres has organized an outreach in form of a Medical Camp running for a week; from Monday 22nd July, on the theme, “Come, and let’s return to the Lord” Hosea 6:1.

The free health awareness camp is currently in progress at the Kampala City Square quadrangle. The reach-out is aimed at restoring people’s health needs, as Christ Jesus did when he restored sight, hearing and life.

According to Rev. Moses Ahimbisibwe the clergy in charge of Missions and Evangelism, the outreach is biblical and spiritual. “We have to practice what Jesus taught us, the wholeness is important in Christian life. Someone has to be well physically and spiritual to be whole”.

Mengo Hospital, Uganda Cancer Institute, Marie-stopes, Uganda Blood Bank, Makerere University Joint AIDS Programme (MUJAP), AAR Medical Insurance Company, RUN Dental Services among others are there to provide; general body checkups, cancer screening, dental related problems, blood donation, safe male circumcision and family planning. The medical camp will conclude on Friday 26th July 2019.

The July missions at All Saints’ Cathedral, Kampala is when the church engages in outreach to the community through external services like preaching, counselling and praying with community members.
