Text: Exodus 16:22-36.
“So the people rested on the seventh day,” verse 30 (ESV).
God is instructing us to rest on Sunday, however, most people, including Christians, take Sunday like any other day. They do not honour God by resting on this day. This is the day, where they should share testimonies and glorify God for what He is and what He has done. Please, from today observe Sunday and reflect on God’s love through what He has accomplished for you in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Reflect on verse 30, what is God teaching you in this verse, and how are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for many people, especially Christians to honour You by observing and resting on Sundays. Amen.
