Text: Ezekiel 22:1-31.
“Her priests have done violence to my law and have profaned my holy things. They have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they taught the difference between the unclean and the clean, and they have disregarded my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them,” verse 26 (ESV). As a Christian, you are a holy priesthood, (1 Peter 2:9).

As priests, we should teach people the right and holy living. We should not take Sunday services lightly and ignore them. (The priests were supposed to keep God’s worship pure and teach people the right living. But with time the worship became the common place. Just as we see it today, many people no longer respect Sunday.
They treat the day like any other day).

Reflect on verse 26, what is God teaching you in this verse, how are you going to apply it to yourself and family?

Father in the name of Jesus, forgive us for things we have failed to do especially in honouring Your day, Amen.
