Text: Matthew 12:43-50.
“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. Then it says, ‘I will return
to my house from which I came’. And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with it seven
other spirits more evil than itself…” verses 43-45. Once the person being ministered to is not a Christian he/she should immediately receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Here the Spirit will come and reside in him/her and protect him/her from future attacks.
Reflect on verse 43 and 44, in deliverance ministry, if the person is not a Christian, when should he invite Christ into his life; before or after the demon has been chased out of him?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for the many who need deliverance. Help me be Your tool in this ministry. Amen.
