Text: Proverbs 29:1-27.
“To discipline a child produces wisdom, but a mother is disgraced by an undisciplined child’’, verse 15, LASB. For you to propagate a godly family legacy, you must discipline your children. When you discipline in order to correct them, they learn and learning gives them wisdom. When children are properly and consistently corrected, they will also correct theirs in the future, and a godly family legacy will continue. A child raised up by a maid or has grown up in a boarding school from primary one will raise his/hers in the same manner that he/she was raised.
When you see the behavior of some children today, what do you observe in terms of discipline? What should be done? How are you going to apply verse 15 to your children.
Father, I pray that parents will avail themselves, and discipline their children. I pray that this nation will promote generations that reveres Your great name. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
