Text: Ephesians 2:1-10
As a follower of Jesus Christ, I must practice good works (v.10), even though good works cannot and will never contribute to one’s salvation. One’s salvation is complete in the redemption work of Jesus Christ and one gets it through faith only. If we are God’s workmanship or masterpiece, then we need to treat each other with respect as we do good works.
Our hero in doing good and whom we should follow is Jesus Christ. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. Let us also do good to the community especially those who are oppressed both; physically and spiritually.
Meditate on verse 38. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me to do good to my community. Amen.
