Text: Leviticus 19:1 -13.
“You shall not oppress your neighbor or rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning,” verse 13 (ESV). It is important to pay your workers justly and promptly. Some Christians pay little to the workers, especially maids in their homes.

Some delay or do not give them that little money they have agreed upon. The Bible is urging those in position to hire workers, to pay them justly and promptly. This honours the Lord.

Reflect on verse 13, how are you going to apply it to your life and family?

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for those housemaids who are serving in bondage to be liberated. I pray for harsh masters to be
humble to their workers. Amen.
