Text: Matthew 18: 1-35
Jesus said, “…Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (v.3, ESV). Does this mean that children are innocent? No, Jesus meant that children depend on others and they easily
accept whatever is given to them. So the greatest is the one who depends on God for everything, and willingly accepts whatever has come from God.
It is important that you do not cause any child of God, disciple, to sin, for this is a grave offense (vv. 5-6). Be careful how you treat the disciples of Jesus Christ so that you do not cause them to sin.
Meditate on verse 6. How are you going to respond to it?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, forgive me where I have caused followers to sin, cleanse me with the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen.
