Text: Mathew 4: 12-25
Jesus now begins His public ministry. He begins with power and a call to
repentance because the Kingdom of God was at hand. He also prayerfully
selects some of the twelve disciples. Key to this is that whoever He called they followed Him. His preaching was accompanied with miracles and
wonders, pointing to Him that He was and is the Messiah. In His message,
He was emphasising repentance. This is the message we must preach today:
repentance and forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ.
Meditate on verse 17. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray that, my family members will repent of the evil they have committed. Amen.
