Text: Ephesians 5:1-21.
“And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,” verses 18-19. ESV. When a family is growing together in Christ and under the
influence of the Holy Spirit, there is singing, making music and giving thanks to the Lord. A household that is following Jesus Christ whatever
they do, be it political or otherwise, is permeated with an attitude of joy and thankfulness to God.
Reflect on verse 18 and 19, what is God teaching you in these verses?
How are you going to apply them to your life? How is your family as far as household discipleship is concerned. Father, I pray for the redemption of the families that are ardent partakers of alcohol. For You alone You are able to transform their lives. Cause repentance and give forgiveness. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
