Text: Lamentations 3:22-33.
Even if we go through difficulties, lose property, and or lose our loved ones, the love of the Lord is steadfast and never ceases and the Lord’s mercies never come to an end. The whole of today’s reading assures us that God does not leave us to suffer alone because He does not willingly afflict or grieve us. (verse 33).
What lesson do you learn from this reading? Think about how people deal with loss of dear ones; there is need to trust and depend on the Lord.
Lord God Almighty, give us strength to bear times of bereavement and wisdom to depend on You. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
